Rusthunter Charters

Rusthunter is a 5.8m Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat purpose built for diving. It is MNZ surveyed carrying all the latest in life support gear. 406khz EPIRB, VHF radio, Garmin 8410 chartplotter and 3d chirp bottom imaging software (This makes finding and diving new and exciting sites a breeze), life jackets, medic kit, O2 kit, flares, high flow bilge pump, nav lights, signalling device, back up handheld VHF and Garmin chartplotter. She also has two high quality batteries for redundancy. Surveyed for 6 divers in full gear, but we have a max of 4 technical divers or Rebreather divers. The raised bench makes for proper utilisation of space and makes it much easier to don gear. The extended fishbone ladder makes exiting the water a breeze too.

She is powered by a Yamaha 150hp Four Stroke engine, one of the most reliable and respected engines on the market.

Where does she operate from?

The main purpose or Rusthunter is to be versatile and dynamic. Towed by a 3.2l Ford Ranger 4×4 this means that Rusthunter has the flexibility to be launched in many places. Surveyed for 5 mile from safe haven makes pretty much and coastal locations accessible to Rusthunter.
